Meet Nelson Martinez, our dedicated Director of Safety, who has been essential to our team for the past decade. With a wealth of experience and a passion for ensuring the well-being of both our employees and clients, Nelson plays a critical role in maintaining the high safety standards we uphold at EarthWorks.

Having initially served as an account manager for four years, Nelson transitioned seamlessly into his current role. He finds great satisfaction in supporting our frontline workers and overseeing operations across all four of our offices. His journey with EarthWorks has been characterized by a commitment to excellence and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in everything he does.

A Dedicated Family Man with Humble Beginnings

Beyond his professional life, Nelson is a devoted husband to his wife, Victoria, and a loving father to his two children, Harrison and Elaina. With both of his kids immersed in sports activities, Nelson embraces his role as a supportive and involved parent, often juggling his own interests to accommodate their busy schedules.

Originally hailing from El Salvador, Nelson’s background adds richness to his personality and perspective. His education took him from California to Midlothian, ultimately leading him to Texas Christian University (TCU), where he honed his skills and knowledge in preparation for his career.

A Love for the Outdoors

In his spare time, Nelson indulges in a variety of hobbies that allow him to unwind and recharge. A passionate traveler, he loves to explore new destinations and experience different cultures firsthand. Additionally, Nelson has a passion for outdoor sports and can often be found embracing the thrill of racing on the track.

One of Nelson’s favorite plants is the Acer palmatum, commonly known as the Japanese maple. Fascinated by its exquisite beauty, he admires the intricate details of its foliage and the serene ambiance it brings to any landscape.
