Bryan Gaydos
Estimator/Key Accounts Manager
Brian Gaydos has over 15 years of customer service/sales, +10 years of green industry experience, and 2+ years of green industry operations management.

With a strong background in irrigation management and landscape design, Brian brings a wealth of problem-solving experience. Brian is a proud graduate of Del Mar College and Missouri State University.
Chris Lee
President
Chris Lee is the president of EarthWorks and has over 20 years of green industry experience. He had worked for EarthWorks since 1998 and is a certified apartment supplier, licensed irrigator (LI 18300), and licensed pesticide applicator (#078546).

Chris studied business at the University of Arkansas, and horticulture and landscape design at Tarrant County College In 2000 Chris completed a Certificate in Financial Planning from Florida State University. He also is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program and of the Dale Carnegie Leadership Institute. He is also pursuing ongoing education through the Texas A&M Agrilife System.  
Cesar Vasquez
Senior Account Manager & Director of Client Relations
As Senior Account Manager & Director of Client Relations, Cesar Vasquez has been with EarthWorks since 2007.

He is a certified irrigation tech (IT0007529) and has over 15 years of green industry experience. With fluency in both English and Spanish, Ceasar is dedicated to serving our customers to the best of his abilities. 
Diana Licea
Administrative Assistant
Diana Licea has more than 10 years of experience in office management and is bilingual in both English and Spanish, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the EarthWorks team.

She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northwood University and an associate's degree in Accounting from Danville Area Community College. 
Dulce Sandoval
Account Manager
Dulce Sandoval is an account manager who has been employed at EarthWorks, Inc. since 2017.

She has more than five years’ experience as a customer service expert, using her knowledge, time-management expertise, and communication skills to deliver whatever support our clients need. Fluent in Spanish, Dulce provides information and assistance in ways that forge lasting connections with our clients. As an amateur boxer outside of work, Dulce looks forward to growing and further developing the company’s supportive environment and customer-centric culture. 
Eric Emfinger
Account Manager
Eric Emfinger joined the Earthworks team in June 2017. As an account manager, he brings his four-plus years of business ownership, eight years of customer service and sales experience,
and 14 years of green industry expertise to the company. Eric’s landscape career began in 2001, as he gained knowledge in landscape installation, irrigation, drainage, and hardscapes. Today, Eric is an invaluable part of Earthworks, Inc. and is committed to creating a company that improves the lives of its employees and customers through commercial landscape management services.

He was an account representative before enlisting in the U.S. Army as a combat medical specialist. Eric, a native of Louisiana, now lives in Grapevine with his wife and children. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, traveling with his wife, and has a keen fondness for the culinary arts.

Heriberto Ramirez has worked for EarthWorks since 1981 and brings over 35 years of green industry experience. He has also been a landscape designer for over 20 years.

Although starting as a laborer has advanced in the company to become the first nonowner employee of EarthWorks. Heriberto has served as the General Manager for our home office for over 20 years  

    Heaven Hensley
    Account Manager
    Heaven Hensley brings over 6 years of management and team leadership experience and 10 years of client engagement and relationship marketing to the company. She has a passion for communication and building genuine connections.

    Heaven has an Associate of Arts Degree from LoneStar College and studied education at the University of Houston. She lives and loves in The Woodlands, Texas, and is happily married, with 2 young daughters and 1 skinny black lab. She's also an A+ joke teller.
    Jacob Crockett
    Business Development/Key Account Manager
    Jacob Crockett has more than four years’ experience in the green industry and seven years in customer service and sales. He joined the EarthWorks team in 2015 as a business development account manager,
    a role that gives him numerous opportunities to build open and honest relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow employees. As a certified Irrigation Tech IT0005758.

    His work has contributed to the company’s goals and has helped the team achieve milestones in the field of horticulture and landscape management services. Jacob has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Arkansas.
    Jo Morin
    Director of Human Resources
    Jo Morin has been with EarthWorks since the summer of 2010 and has seen the team double in size over the years.

    With more than seven years’ experience in human resources, she has undergone professional and personal growth during her tenure with the company. Fluent in Spanish, Jo’s communication skills are one of the reasons why Earthworks continues to be a company powered by customer service – which comes across through its interactions with employees, vendors, and customers.

    Jo holds an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Tarrant County College and hopes to return for further studies. As a mother of two and a sister to three brothers and two sisters, her family keeps her busy when she steps out of the office. Jo also enjoys yoga, swimming, reading true crime books, and watching documentaries.
    Javiar Mar
    Field Supervisor
    Javier Mar is a 25-year veteran of the professional horticulture business.

    Javier is a valued team member at EarthWorks with a passion for continuous improvement, team building, and leadership development. As one of our Spanish fluent team members, Javier has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from the University Autonomous Agrarius Antonio Narro.
    Kevin Narveson
    Hardscape Division Manager/Estimator
    As the team’s commercial construction and hardscape manager, Kevin Narveson fulfills bidding and project management tasks and handles all hardscape projects.

    He has more than 35 years of experience in the green industry and credits his role as a Texas Area Manager for developing his love and passion for construction. He joined the EarthWorks team after opening and managing his own company for 11 years, a firm that focused on hardscape projects. He brings combined skills in outdoor space design and construction, making him a high-value addition to the team.

    Kevin believes in creating an environment that has no boundaries on what can be done to deliver a positive experience for customers, vendors, and staff. He’s been with Earthworks for more than three years and thrives in his role, as he sees it as a chance to do what he loves for a company that truly cares about its employees.
    Lesley Sanchez
    Admin/HR Assistant
    Lesley's versatile background makes her perfect for recruiting top talent while supporting clients and the EarthWorks team.
    Lesley has several years of experience in management, human resources, and administrative support. She is also bilingual, Spanish, and English.

    As an HR manager, Lesley looks for people who have a strong sense of responsibility to do their part and excels in recruiting talents who are an inspiration on the job. Her hiring skills have helped the company build a stronger team.

    Being a part of EarthWorks continues to be a rewarding experience for her and she looks forward to many more years with the company.

    Office Manager/Accounts Receivable
    Lee Ann Perry, the office manager at EarthWorks, has been with the company since March of 2005 and comes with more than 20 years’ experience in the customer service field.

    She also fulfills the responsibilities of an Accounts Receivable Manager, handling all phases of the company’s invoicing process. Her help in training new hires on entering bids or checking their work has created a smoother, faster, and efficient system.

    Lee Ann believes in contributing to an environment where employees feel respected, connected, and involved in making a difference. She values Earthworks for its culture in which employees are committed to improving the quality of people’s lives through excellent customer service. Lee holds a degree from Tarrant County College.
    Mark Chaffin
    Owner and CEO
    President and CEO Mark Chaffin started EarthWorks in 1979. His vision has since created a successful company with an indelible reputation for serving Texas.

    Mark currently holds a nursery license (#256105) and a pesticide applicators license (#0268772).
    Mana Chaffin
    Owner and CFO
    Mana Chaffin serves as CFO and co-owner of EarthWorks, having worked for the company since 1983.

    Mana is a licensed irrigator (LI 4493) with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Texas Arlington.
    Miguel Sanchez
    Field Supervisor
    Miguel Sanchez is EarthWorks' field supervisor. He brings more than 10 years of green industry experience and is one of our valued bilingual team members with fluency in both English and Spanish. 
    Martin Pantoja
    Irrigation Field Manager
    Martin Pantoja is an irrigation field supervisor for EarthWorks' Garland and Irving offices.
    Martin has been a dedicated employee at EarthWorks since 2015, but he has more 15 years of landscape/irrigation experience. He is a licensed Irrigation tech (IT0005305), a certified backflow tester (BP0017717), and a certified Rain Bird Maxicom operator.
    Nelson Ortiz
    Safety Director/Account Manager
    Safety Director/Account Manager Nelson Ortiz brings more than 3 years of green industry experience and 4 years of management experience to the EarthWorks team.

    With more than 5 years of utilizing his customer service skills, Nelson has a knack for working with our clients who speak both English and Spanish. Nelson studied horticulture at Tarrant County College and business at Texas Christian University.
    Paul Carmella
    General Manager, Garland Office
    Paul Carmella, who has served as general manager at EarthWorks since 2013, has more than 25 years of experience in the landscaping industry.

    His strong background in operations management in both of the country’s northeast and southwest regions makes him one of the top professionals in the field. His belief in letting the company’s customer-centric culture shine through keeps customers loyal and happy.

    Paul is an ISA Certified Arborist and holds a TDA Commercial Pesticide Applicators license. He has a proven background in tree and plant health care and is an expert in sales, design, and estimating. Paul holds a Horticulture degree from the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
    Ruben Martinez
    Field Supervisor
    Ruben Martinez is a field supervisor who has been with EarthWorks since 2007.
    Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ruben has more than 15 years of green industry experience. 
    Shaun Callaway
    Vice President Houston Market
    Vice President of Houston's market Shaun Callaway has 6 years of management and team leadership experience and 10 years of client engagement and relationship marketing.

    Shaun has a passion for communication and building genuine connections with team members and customers alike. Shaun has an Associate of Arts from LoneStar College and studied Education at the University of Houston. Happily married with two young daughters and one skinny black lab, Shaun lives and loves in The Woodlands, Texas.

    Speedy Martinez is EarthWorks' Director of Maintenance and has worked with the company since 2007.

    Bringing more than 15 years of management experience and 25 years of green industry experience, Speedy is a valued and passionate leader EarthWorks is proud to have on our team.

    With fluency in English and Spanish, Sonia Zamora-Bosquez is EarthWorks' administrative assistant/collector.

    Sonia brings more than 20 years of administrative support experience and customer service experience to our team. 
    Suzi Craig
    Accounts Payable/Receptionist
    EathWorks' Accounts Payable/Receptionist Suzi Craig has more than 25 years of experience in customer service and 20 years of office management, human resources, and payroll experience.
    Suzi has an associate's degree in Accounting/Bookkeeping.
    Sergio Enriquez
    Field Supervisor
    Sergio Enriquez is a field supervisor who has worked for EarthWorks since 1986.
    As one of our tenured team members and dedicated leaders, Sergio brings more than 30 years of green industry experience and 15 years of supervisory experience to our talented team. 
    Todd Sankey
    General Manager of the Irving Office
    Todd Sankey has been at Earthworks since 2005. He is the general manager of the Irving Office at present and has more than 10 years’ experience in the green industry.

    While his specialization in new and rehabbed remodel landscape design and installation makes him a key member of the team, it is his tireless encouragement of everyone to go beyond customer’s expectations that makes Todd a pillar of the company. By helping clients achieve their goals, he believes what the company does on a daily basis makes a difference. Todd is a licensed irrigator # LI0018477. 
    Tod Russell
    Irrigation Manager/Account Manager
    Tod Russell has more than 32 years of green industry experience and is an Account Manager at EarthWorks.

    Tod brings a wealth of knowledge and green industry experience as a member of the Texas Turfgrass Association, a certified professional turfgrass manager, and a licensed pesticide applicator. He studied business administration at the University of Iowa and horticulture at Kirkwood College. 
    Tyler Perry
    Estimator/Account Manager
    Tyler Perry started with EarthWorks in 2006, working in the summers while home from college. He graduated from Bacone College in Muskogee, OK with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2010.

    Tyler continued with his career in landscape, joining EarthWorks full time. Starting in a manual labor role and splitting wood 8 hours a day, Tyler advanced into the roles of Mow Crew Foreman, Irrigation Forman, and then Account Manager. For the last 4 years, he has managed the Landscape Installation department and processed estimates and designed work for our customers.
    Victor Sargsyan
    Account Manager & Irrigation and Chemical Department Manager
    Victor Sargsyan, an account manager at Earthworks, Inc., also serves as an irrigation and chemical department manager.

    He has seven years of experience in management positions, more than eight years of green industry experience and 12 years in customer service and sales. Victor’s experience in diverse fields has given the company unique insight in how to deliver consistent value to our customers.

    He has an irrigator license and pesticide applicator license. He is also a certified backflow tester, is certified in Water Conservation Strategies in Landscape Irrigation, and has undertaken the Agrilife Extension Pesticide Applicator Training. Victor holds a Bachelors degree in Decorative Art and Design.

    Yesenia Sanchez has been with EarthWorks since June 2020 and has made a big impact in her short time, utilizing more than 10 years of customer service experience to keep our office running smoothly.
    On top of that, Yesenia has 5 years of human resources, hiring/onboarding experience, and 4 years of supervisory and managerial experience that aids in her growth and success with the company.
    Zac Chaffin
    Business Manager
    Zac Chaffin is the company’s Business Manager and has worked for Earthworks, Inc. full-time since 2012. In high school, Zac worked summers in the greenhouses and main facility of Earthworks.

    His three-plus years of finance and wealth management experience gained him the crucial ability to navigate changing business environments and conditions, a skill he continues to use to position the company for current and future success. In 2013, Zac became a certified apartment supplier (CAS) and holds a Water Efficient Green Professionals Certification. He is also a Dale Carnegie Course graduate, from which he learned people management skills that contribute to building Earthworks’ culture, one where employees achieve goals and grow with the company.

    Zac has a Bachelor of Business Management from Texas A&M University. He is married to Kyla Chaffin, with whom he has a son, Conner.
