EarthWorks Creates Practical and Vibrant Gathering Areas for Cortland Allen Station

The neighborhood features luxury indoor and outdoor amenities including high-end finishes, a movie theater, two saltwater pools, sun decks, an outdoor kitchen with grills, a fitness center, clubhouse, leash-free bark park, and more. Cortland Allen Station aims for the highest standards of living through hospitality and impeccable attention to detail.

The resort-style living extends to the landscaping. The high-traffic grass areas made it challenging to maintain a flawless look year-round and avoid muddy tracks into the facility on rainy days. Cortland Allen Station decided to eliminate the upkeep and frustration by upgrading to synthetic turf.

The complex entrusted EarthWorks to take on the project and transform their outdoor grass areas into stunning, clean spaces that would be visually appealing, rain or shine. EarthWorks excavated, prepared, and installed synthetic turf in common areas, and the bark park. Since installing synthetic turf does not require a permit or heavy equipment, scheduling was focused on the most important part of the project, the residents.

EarthWorks made sure to keep residents a priority by planning renovations one phase at a time. Project lead, Kevin Narveson, said, “We started in one area and completed it before ripping out another area. We still wanted residents to have places to go with pets or children.”

Though the project faced some weather delays, it was completed on time and on budget. The synthetic turf is a low-maintenance and mud-free solution to give the grounds an updated look and mirror the resort-style living environment.
