From Wow to Whoa! Small Changes Makes A Big Impact On Cortland Canyon Creek

The Cortland Canyon Creek apartment community in Richardson, recently had EarthWorks renovate their outdoor community area. The apartment community is located just outside North Dallas and features upscale 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments. It is conveniently located near the CityLine, featuring several shopping and dining areas. It is also near major thoroughfares to employers such as Texas Instruments and State Farm Insurance, making its residents’ commutes a breeze. Its residents can tee off at the Canyon Creek Country Club or enjoy a long and scenic hike through the Spring Creek Nature Area for weekend fun.

Minor But Effective Enhancements Transform the Amenity Area

EarthWorks recently completed several updates to their pool and amenity area to enhance the experience for their residents and guests. The site already featured grilling stations with BBQs and prep stations, open-air cedar pergolas for shade, a seating area, and a gaming center. The next phase of Improvements included adding synthetic turf to the existing cornhole area for easy maintenance and upgrading the current wooden cornhole set to one made of durable concrete. Additionally, a steel-constructed ping pong table was added to the gaming area for endless hours of family fun.

We added several large umbrellas to the seating area for sun protection during the day and installed party lights under the umbrellas for added ambiance and safety at night. The most significant transformation was removing the decomposed granite surface and replacing it with durable porcelain tiles. Through the renovation, the community amenity area was transformed into a welcoming and modern space.
