What are the day-to-day responsibilities for landscape foreman jobs in Dallas, TX
As a landscape foreman for Earthworks, you’ll be responsible for running and managing a construction team unsupervised and ensuring that a wide variety of projects are completed in line with our company’s high standards.
No two days will be identical as a landscape foreman. You’ll need to control, supervise, and even actively participate in a large number of different landscaping projects. Depending on the project, you might examine different systems and diagnose problems, inspect electrical equipment to identify defects or potential hazards, dig trenches, or provide material take-offs (MTO) for facilities equipment.
You will also be responsible for making sure that your job site is in strict compliance with company safety standards and requirements and overseeing and monitoring the daily labor and project performance of your team. You’ll need to have strong organizational and prioritizing abilities and solve problems in real-time if they emerge.
What skills are needed for this job?
In addition to the broader requirements already discussed, such as knowledge of safety protocols and strong leadership skills, preference will be given to individuals:
- With a high school degree or GED equivalent
- Who can follow both written and verbal instructions
- Who have a working knowledge of business English, as well as proper spelling, grammar, and arithmetic

What are the compensation, schedule, and travel requirements for this job?
At Earthworks, our landscape foreman jobs in Dallas, TX, pay a competitive rate of $700-$850 per week. We even include a generous hiring bonus when you become a part of our company because we value our workers and the high caliber of service they provide to our clients.
As a foreman, you’ll need to be able to work from 7:00 am-4:00 pm, although your hours may sometimes stretch from 7:00 am-6:00 pm. You need to be able to adjust to a shifting work schedule, and you will be paid overtime. Travel will be required up to 80% of the time.
