Shining a Spotlight on our Team: Shaun Callaway

This month, we’re thrilled to turn the spotlight on Shaun Callaway, Vice president of EarthWorks Houston division.

A Journey of Growth and Leadership

For 13 years and counting, Shaun has been a valuable member of our team, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to every project. His career began as an account manager, where his dedication and innovative thinking quickly set him apart. Shaun’s ambition and drive led him to take on the challenge of building something truly special within the company by leading the establishment of our Houston division from the ground up.

Reflecting on his time in EarthWorks, Shaun shares, “I appreciate the culture and family atmosphere at EarthWorks. Seeing the company flourish and knowing that I’ve contributed to its growth has been gratifying. Starting from scratch in Houston, I’ve had the chance to build a new company branch, creating jobs and opportunities for all current Houston employees.”

As part of his role, Shaun excels in overseeing operations, consistently demonstrating an exceptional ability to streamline processes, optimize efficiency, and drive the success of the Houston division. He has earned the respect of everyone he works with thanks to his warm character and exceptional leadership.

Love for Family and Community

Born in San Diego, California, and raised in Midlothian, Texas, Shaun has always been deeply connected to his roots. After graduating from Texas A&M University, where he met his wife, Kelsey, he began his career with EarthWorks. In 2015, he and Kelsey moved to Houston, where Shaun took on the challenge of establishing EarthWorks’ Houston division.

Outside of work, Shaun is a devoted family man. He and Kelsey are the proud parents of three incredible children: Carter, 9, Emory, 5, and Hayes, 3. Family is at the heart of everything Shaun does, and he enjoys spending quality time with his loved ones.

Recently, they have enjoyed camping as a family and acquired a travel trailer earlier this year. Since then, they have been embarking on various trips. Their family enjoys the great outdoors, partaking in activities such as hiking, fishing, and swimming. Additionally, they are self proclaimed foodies and love the chance to travel adn explore new dining destinations!

 The Callaway family is excited about their upcoming move, having recently signed a contract for a new house in Fulshear, marking an exciting new chapter in their lives.

Shaun Callaway embodies this principle perfectly. Whether leading a team at EarthWorks or enjoying a weekend with his family, he approaches every task with the same enthusiasm and integrity.
