Freddy has been a valued part of the EarthWorks family since 2017, marking over 7.5 years of commitment, hard work, and growth within the company.

Title and Role

As an Estimator and Project Manager, Freddy plays a key role in ensuring the success of various landscaping projects. His keen eye for detail and strong leadership have contributed significantly to the high standards we maintain at EarthWorks.

Freddy enjoys the atmosphere at the Houston office, but what he values most is the opportunity for every employee, including himself, to grow and advance within the company. His passion for professional development aligns perfectly with the core values of EarthWorks, where hard work is acknowledged and rewarded.

A Little About Freddy

Freddy was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and is the proud father of seven children: four wonderful sons—Alfredo, Christian, Jose, and Luz—and three beautiful daughters—Leslie, Julissa, and Alondra. Family is at the heart of everything Freddy does, and his dedication to his work and his loved ones is truly admirable.

Education and Career Background

Landscaping has been a part of Freddy’s life since childhood. He fondly recalls helping his father cut grass on weekends and during summers, fueling a lifelong passion for the industry. At just 17, he began working as a laborer, and by 19, he had earned his license and was given an opportunity to become a foreman. EarthWorks offered him the chance to continue climbing the ladder, solidifying his decision to make it his professional home. Freddy’s journey is a testament to his dedication and drive.

Personal Interests and Hobbies

Freddy is a dreamer with big plans for his family. Next year, he hopes to take them to places they’ve never been, a goal he feels is within reach thanks to his career at EarthWorks. Freddy expresses deep gratitude: “I want to thank Shaun for believing in me and Chris for the opportunity. My family and I couldn’t be more thankful.”

Outside of work, Freddy is a huge baseball fan with a special love for the Houston Astros. His passion for the sport is just another example of the dedication and enthusiasm he brings to everything he does.

Favorite Plant and Why

Freddy’s favorite plant is the azalea, which holds a special place in his heart. “Azaleas were my mother’s favorite,” he shares, “and they are a memory for me to have of her forever.”
