Shining a Spotlight on Our Team: Jacob Crockett

untitled 14

Meet Jacob Crockett, a key contributor at EarthWorks, bringing 8.5 years of dedication to helping shape our company as the Chief Operations Officer (COO). His journey with EarthWorks is not just a tenure; it’s a testament to his unwavering commitment and passion for making a positive impact.

In the role of COO, Jacob thrives on the power of teamwork and takes immense joy in guiding his colleagues toward both professional and personal growth. For him, success is not just about meeting internal company goals but also maximizing operational efficiency. The landscape industry’s unique business model is what drew Jacob in, allowing him to create a tangible impact in the lives of clients and the residents who call those landscapes home.

EarthWorks President Chris Lee, couldn’t speak highly enough of Jacob’s contributions to the company’s success – “It’s not often that one can say this honestly, but Jacob has exceeded expectations at every turn since he joined us. He has been instrumental in crafting our long-term plans while taking leadership by the reins. Most importantly, he’s made my life easier!”

What Jacob loves most about the landscaping industry is that it’s more than just business; it’s about creating beauty that resonates with property owners, clients, and residents. A well-maintained landscape or a successful new installation doesn’t just enhance the aesthetic appeal – it has the power to brighten someone’s day and uplift their spirits. Jacob believes the world needs more crisp and clean landscapes, for they are good for the soul.

Originally hailing from Arkansas, Jacob’s roots run deep, and his connection to his family remains strong. Jacob calls Eagle Mountain Lake home, alongside his beautiful wife, whom he met in college, and their mustachioed Schnauzer, Boone, who he proudly asserts “has the meanest mustache in Tarrant County! Their abode is a testament to their love, surrounded by the things they enjoy the most – the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, golf, and more.

Jacob’s educational background, a BSBA in Finance from the University of Arkansas, reflects his commitment to excellence and discipline. The spirited “Woo pig!” encapsulates the Razorback spirit that drives him to achieve and succeed.

When it comes to favorite plants, Jacob’s heart belongs to the Japanese Maple Tree. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this tree symbolizes peace and a stress-free life. For Jacob, every leaf on this tree carries a memory of tranquility and the beauty that nature can bring to our lives.

In every aspect of Jacob’s personal and professional life, his enthusiasm and dedication shine through. EarthWorks is not just a workplace for Jacob; it’s where he passionately paints a landscape of success, growth, and beauty – one that reflects the very essence of who he is.
