Shining the Spotlight on Our Team: Dulce Sandoval

Once again, it’s time to spotlight another of our employees. This month we are talking about Dulce Sandoval, an Account Manager and Estimator with Earthworks who has been with us for five years.

Dulce joined the company as an admin, having previously worked in administration and customer service and even as a personal trainer. She quickly made a name for herself with her skill and work ethic because, in less than a year, she transitioned from an Admin to an Account Manager. We asked her about her role at Earthworks and the key to her success with us.

“I love my job because I’m always learning something new, and that makes every day interesting and rewarding. I get to provide beautiful, customized designs for our clients, and the freedom I have to do that is priceless. I very much enjoy working in the landscaping industry.”

Dulce has quickly risen through the ranks of our company and is a very valuable team member who has a big role in assisting our General Manager. She is driven and very focused and, in turn, has become trusted as an Estimator, which requires precision, zero errors, and approval from several layers of our company before a project estimate is delivered to our clients.

The landscaping industry is undoubtedly male-driven, yet Dulce is extremely well-respected by both our female and male team members. Her kind nature, approachable persona, and dedication to professionalism have won her the respect of her colleagues. She truly embodies our company’s mission of value, integrity, service, and quality. We are so proud of her accomplishments at our company and know the sky’s the limit for her!

Dulce was born and raised in Dallas and grew up in a big family with five sisters and one brother. She feels that coming from a big family taught her a lot about working with and getting along with others. Her family is everything to her, and she finds EarthWorks to be like a second home to her as we have a family-oriented approach to our company.

When Dulce isn’t working, she loves traveling and trying new things. She loves riding her horse, Tyson, going to the gym, and staying fit. She is a nature lover and cherishes her trail rides with Tyson whenever she can fit them into her busy schedule!

As is the tradition with our employee spotlights, we wanted Dulce to tell us about her favorite tree or plant. Dulce responded: “I like the Red Maple Tree because of the intensity of the color red. I love the clusters of red buds and flowers you see on the Maple in early spring and the way they turn different shades of yellow, orange, and red in the Fall. They’re so colorful!”

It’s no wonder that Dulce has found a place with us here at EarthWorks and established herself as a vital part of our team. Her positive attitude and enjoyment of her work always leave our clients with a smile on their faces.
