Shining the Spotlight on Our Team: Tyler Perry

This month, the spotlight falls on our always-rising star Tyler Perry, who has fully transitioned into the role of an Estimator in the Landscape Installation Department over the last few years. Tyler has been with EarthWorks for a remarkable amount of time, since 2005, serving in various essential roles. Loyal and hardworking employees like him keep our company at peak performance.

Tyler enjoys working with us because of his invaluable service to our clients, saying he can “know what they often need before they even ask for it.” Also, he gets to build great client relationships because his flexible schedule allows him to get out of the office and meet clients at their properties to estimate their landscaping dreams. President of EarthWorks, Chris Lee, says “I have watched Tyler grow over the years from a high school kid trying to earn money for college (and routinely breaking our log splitter 🤣) to someone who has the respect of everyone in our company from top to bottom. He is absolutely one of our greatest assets and has already, at a young age, become one of the leaders of our company. The sky is truly the limit for Tyler. We’re very blessed to have him.”

When Tyler is not in the office or connecting with clients, he spends quality time fishing, hunting, or on the grill cooking up something delicious with the custom smoker he received as a great gift. If not that, he and his lovely wife Ashley and two dogs, Bandit and Bear, spend time at home watching football, hosting friends and family when they come over, or scoping out new furry friends to adopt to add to their cozy little family. 

After being asked about his favorite plant material, we were told it was Liriope Gigantea. Tyler says he uses this design in 90% of his projects and adores how it goes well in multiple settings, whether Xeriscape or Garden/Evergreen.

We are grateful to have Tyler Perry on our team. His personable skills and dedication to what we do here keeps us in good business with the clients we care about most.
