Shining the Spotlight on Our Team: Victor Sargsyan

In this month’s employee spotlight, we’re pleased to shine a much-deserved light on Victor Sargsyan. He has been part of the EarthWorks family for over 12 years and manages the Chemical and Irrigation Department for the Garland and Irving offices.

Victor was born in Armenia, a small mountainous country in the Caucasus region of Eastern Europe. He moved to the United States when he was 21 years old. He met his wife, Victoria in 2006 and together they share two adorable boys, Nicolas (4) and Monte (2).

Victor has an associate degree from the College of Decorative Applied Arts in Armenia for jewelry production and design. He’s also a certified license holder for backflow testing, landscape irrigation, and a chemical applicator.

We asked Victor about his time at EarthWorks and what he liked about his role. “Working at EarthWorks is never boring. There are always different challenges coming our way, and we have the best team to handle them. Even after so many years of growth and doubling in size, it still feels like a small family. I enjoy having a great team around me and helping our customers to save water and have green and lush landscaping.”

Victor enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends, going fishing, or playing cards. He also enjoys cooking good food and traveling whenever possible.

As we do in every employee spotlight, we wanted to know what is Victor’s favorite plant material to which he responded,” My favorite plant is the Japanese Maple Tree. That is the first tree I planted in my house, and I love the way it looks. It has a calming effect on me.”

During his time with EarthWorks, Victor has made outstanding contributions to our company. His knowledge, leadership skills, and professionalism are a reflection of everything that EarthWorks represents and expects from our team. We are fortunate to have him as an integral part of the EarthWorks family.
